OUR COVID-19 PREPAREDNESS PLAN
Re-Opening Guidance for In-Person Instruction
Beginning June 10, 2020 we are not open to the public and limiting student capacity.
- Clinic and salon floor occupancy limitations:
- Services are only being performed on mannequins and the clinic or salon floor is not open to the public, occupancy for the space is limited to 25 people.
- Clinic and salon floors must follow Guidance for Safely Reopening Minnesota Businesses: Personal Care Services/Salons from the Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development (DEED).
- Checklist:
- Have adapted and implemented a COVID-19 preparedness plan.
- Limited number of students inside the school at any time to ensure 6 feet of distance between people. We are not providing services to the public.
- Limit occupant capacity to no more than 50% of usual occupancy.
- See students by appointment only; no walk-ins accepted.
- Require instructors and students to wear masks at all times.
- All students and staff must be socially distanced in accordance with Minnesota Department of Health (MDH) and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC)

Non-clinical areas of the school (classrooms, offices, break rooms, etc.) may be open, but distance learning will continue to be used.
Non-clinic area occupancy limitations:
- In-person class sizes are limited to 5 people per classroom. Multiple classrooms may be used simultaneously, but the school's COVID-19 Preparedness Plan includes steps to implement social distancing that discourages gatherings in common areas.
- Student break room is limited to 2 students at a time. Students are encouraged to take lunch off school premises.
- All students and staff must be socially distanced in accordance with Minnesota Department of Health (MDH) and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC)
